8 In a house live a father and son who both love drinking.

9 The father offers that they should both give up drinking, because of the problems it may cause.
Both decide to quit drinking.

10 The son is fine because he is busy with his work.
The retired father soon starts having hard time without sake.

11 One day, the father cannot fall asleep, and he starts asking his wife for a sip of sake.

12 I want something which warms me from inside.
How about pepper water.

13 I cannot drink that. Rather, something which lights a fire inside me.
How about gasoline.

14 Something which soothes my stomach.
How about salt water.

15 I mean sake.

16 No. You promised your son not to drink.
What would you do is he comes home?

17

18 The father tries to convince his wife.
Just one bottle. Your one bottle is not just one bottle.

19 Why don’t you test me to see if one bottle really means one bottle?

20

21 No food to eat with. I can drink just with salt. Please, please, just one bottle. She finally gives in.

22 The father finally convinces her.
One bottle turns into many.

23 Give me another bottle. I made a mistake.
I told you so. Please give me another bottle and some food. I don’t have any food.

24 I don’t believe you. Just bring another bottle.

25 The father is now very drunk.
What? The son is home? Tell his that I am working in the back.

26 Who is there? “I am home!”

27 The son starts to explain why he is drunk.

28 Drink some sake. No, I can’t do that. Anthing wrong with your body? No. I made a promise to my parents not to drink.

29 That’s noble. I am proud of you.
Let’s drink to your NOT breaking the promise. OK. Let’s.

30 You fool! I told you not to drink.
Because I was planning to leave the house to you.

31 The father glares at his son.

32 Look. This boy has many heads
Look. This boy has many heads. I won’t leave my fortune to such a monster!

33 So what. I don’t want a spinning house like this anyway.
