STARTING WITH ADOBE PREMIERe PRO

Before you start: 1. Create a New Folder - Titled with your Film Title
2. Move all clips from SD Card to the folder (USE SD CARD READER) Note: You can’t move the video file once you’ve edited in Premier Pro. If you move the video file, Premier Pro won’t be able to find the location of your video. *SO KEEP YOUR CLIPS ORGANIZED IN THE BEGINNING*

Open Up Premiere Pro: 1. Create a new project a. Name - Your Film Name b. Don’t worry about anything else for now - Press OK

Import Video Clips: 1. Import your clips: File -> Import…
2. Go to Project Panel (left bottom corner). Your clip should be there. 3. Drag the clip into Preview Panel (left top corner). Your clip should appear.

Start Editing Drag the clip straight into Timeline, and use the Razor Tool (c) to cut the clips.

Adding in Transitions:
You can add in transitions in a couple of ways: Click the panel labelled “effects”. Choose your desired effect from the menu and click and drag any of them to your video Insert a black video by clicking “new item” under the project panel. Click “black video” and drag it into your video. From here you can add a transition or any text you wish

Adding in Titles/credits:
1. Go to Title->New Title -> Default Still for title, or scroll for credits 2. Set Timebase as ‘24 fps’ & Name your title 3. Treat the window as Photoshop. Click on ‘T’ to add, use properties to edit text 4. Close the window 5. Go to Project panel, drag in the clip on to sequence
