Directions: Create an acrostic poem using the word Chernobyl. An acrostic poem uses the letters in a topic word to begin each line. All lines of the poem should relate to or describe the poem, but do not need to rhyme. C H

You may start a word in front of a letter of the topic word. Acrostic poems are to be written vertically. When you are finished, add a graphic that relates to your poem. On the next slide I have given some examples of acrostic poems. Each line should be a phrase about Chernobyl, it doesn’t have to be a full sentence, but it need to be more than one word.
