The dioceses are in Saginaw, Detroit, Marquette,Kalamazoo,Lansing, Grand Rapids and Gaylord Only organized religion in the state until the nineteenth century. The second oldest Roman Catholic parish in the country is the Anne de Détroit (Sainte-Anne-de-Détroit), which was built in 1701 in Detroit Dioceses: A district under the pastoral care of a bishop in the Christian Church. Christ Church Detroit- It is also known as Old Christ Church, Detroit. It is the oldest Protestant church in Michigan and is still located on its original site. Built (opened) In the year 1970 it was designated a Michigan State Historic Site a year later in 1971 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places Gethsemane Evangelical Church- It was designated a Michigan State Historic Site in 1980 and in 1982 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Opened 1891 The congregation used the building until 1976, when they went defunct. In 1978 the building was purchased by the Motor City Missionary Baptist Church. The Motor City Baptist Church congregation was organized in 1967 by Rev. John W. Haynes and his wife. It now houses the Motor City Missionary Baptist Church. Saint Mary Catholic Church-Manchester- St Mary's Church was an Anglican parish church in Manchester, England. The expanding population of Manchester, led to the foundation of several new churches during the 18th century, among which St Mary's in Manchester Michigan was one.

They were all very friendly! They helped us know what was going to happen and what to expect. They did provide us with their readings “The watchtower” so we could follow along in the discussion.
