1 Effect of ovarian steroids on gene expression profile in human uterine microvascular endothelial cells  Tadahiro Yasuo, M.D., Kotaro Kitaya, M.D.  Fertility and Sterility  Volume 92, Issue 2, Pages (August 2009) DOI: /j.fertnstert Copyright © 2009 American Society for Reproductive Medicine Terms and Conditions

2 Figure 1 In vivo endometrial expression of proteins encoded by genes regulated by ovarian steroids. (A) Representative Western blotting analysis for IL1RL1, WAS, NPPA, and TWIST1 expression in the endometrial soluble protein fraction. Peripheral blood mononuclear cell lysate was used as a positive control for IL1RL1 and WAS. Placental soluble protein fraction was used as a positive control for NPPA. Jurkat cell lysate was used as a positive control for TWIST1. (B) Representative immunohistochemistry for IL1RL1, WAS, and NPPA expression in the human endometrium. Scale bars = 50 μm. The arrows indicate endometrial vessels. Control immunoglobulin was used to exclude the background staining.
