1. Mrs. Jensen’s News May 6th – May 10th, 2019 We are learning!
We have been reading a variety of stories and discussing the main idea of each. Our books are chosen based on students interests!
We continue to review letters (identification & sounds) and all the sight words we’ve covered this year. Our new words were: now, our, out, please, pretty, saw & say.
In math, we’ve been working on decomposing the numbers 6, 7 & 8. We are also working on counting on from a random number. We’ve been doing our review work on white boards.
We are continuing to practice our songs and dances for the kindergarten celebration!
Please return the kindergarten celebration note so we know how many to plan for.

Practice counting objects and recognizing numbers to 100 and also counting backwards from 35.
Practice all the sight words we’ve covered. Find them in stories you read at home.
