The Lync Server 2013 Management Pack monitors the health and availability of Lync Server 2013 including: Synthetic Transaction monitoring for Registration, Address book, Presence, Message and Audio Call Reliability Alerts Media Quality Alerts Component Health Alerts Dependency Health Monitoring for Lync Sites, Pools, Services and Components The Lync Server Management Pack monitors the performance of: System Usage Component Health Memory Usage Availability Processor Usage

4 Configuring the Lync Server Management Pack
Import the Lync Server 2013 Management Packs Install a MMA on all Lync Servers Enable Agent Proxy on all MMA’s installed on all Lync Servers Install the Lync Server 2013 core files on all computers that will act a Watcher Nodes for Lync services Install the following on all on all computers that will act a Watcher Nodes for Lync services: The full version of .NET Framework 4.5 Windows Identity Foundation Windows PowerShell 3.0 Install an MMA on all computers that will act a Watcher Nodes for Lync services Run the Watchernode.msi executable file on each Watcher Node Create Test Accounts to be used by Watcher Nodes Update Watcher Nodes with Synthetic Transactions
