Leaders must follow Christ’s example and be servants to the Church like a shepherd.
Not ‘control’ believers, nurture and encourage.
Original word means protecting, leading, feeding, and watching out for welfare.
Serving requires alertness and protection.

13. Humble Leadership Serving helps us learn of God’s Kingdom.
Prov. 3:34 God “gives grace to the humble.”
Refers to Jesus ‘Sermon’ and quotes Ps.55:22 “Cast your cares on the Lord and He will sustain you.”
Not trusting God causes anxiety!

Before the throne of God above, I have a strong and perfect plea, a great High Priest whose name is Love, who ever lives and pleads for me.
