College Prayer Dear Lord,
Help us to live the Gospel values as exemplified by Irene McCormack. Assist us in recognising injustice and finding Irene’s Courage to act in the face of it. Give us her vision and passion to serve those in need. Grant us her openness and serenity to treat each day as your gift to be celebrated and shared. May we use the words of the College motto – Prayer, Service and Justice as the guiding light for our daily lives. Amen Irene McCormack – Pray for us

THE AUSTRALIAN TERTIARY ADMISSION RANK (ATAR)
The Australian Tertiary Admission Rank is the basis of admission to most university courses. You are ranked in order of merit based on your ATAR. The ATAR ranges between zero and 99.95 It reports your rank relative to all other WA students of Year 12 school leaving age.
18
ATAR An ATAR of indicates that you have an overall rating equal to or better than 75% of the Year 12 school leaving age population in Western Australia. The ATAR is calculated using scaled scores in ATAR courses The Average Marks Scaling process is used to scale marks obtained in a course.
19
Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR)
Derived from the Tertiary Entrance Aggregate (TEA) TEA = sum of best 4 scaled scores + 10% of a Language Other Than English + 10% of Maths Methods and Maths Specialist Maximum TEA = 430 Go to tisc.edu.au for further resources about the ATAR. So, how do we arrive at your ATAR? The ATAR is derived from the Tertiary Entrance Aggregate (TEA). This score is calculated by adding the best 4 scaled scores, plus 10% of the scaled score of a Language Other Than English (LOTE) subject, if you have completed one, and 10% of your scaled scores in either or both of Mathematics Methods and Mathematics Specialist. The maximum TEA is currently 430. You can find all the details of unacceptable combinations for particular years by consulting the “School Leaver Admission Requirements” brochure on our website. Make sure you choose the right version of this document, as requirements can change from year to year. ECU
