2. Sunlight is Earth’s primary source of energy, and without it Earth would be unable to sustain life.
The Earth’s atmosphere reduces the power of the sun’s energy which is the reason why life isn’t hurt from the suns powerful rays.

4. Plants need the sunlight because it gives off electromagnetic radiation, which is transformed by the plant into simple carbohydrates or energy.
