1 Year 8 Belgium Residential 2019

2 Information for Parents/Carers
Passports and EHICs All students where possible will be travelling on the group passport. If your child has a current passport we MUST have a copy of it Your child MUST have an EHIC card and we must have a copy. All documentation mussed be filled in correctly. PINK for children born outside the UK (2 parts) WHITE for children born IN the UK

3 Information for Parents/Carers
Luggage Students can take a decent amount of luggage but they must be able to carry it themselves to and from the bus and to their rooms which may be upstairs. Tablets, phones and other devices are the responsibility of each individual. European Adaptors required we are hoping for nice weather! No swimming, rain coat, cool/warm clothing, appropriate coverage.

Money Spending money is the responsibility of each student, we advise a little for souvenirs. Euros please – some sterling for UK airport/services All food is provided but they may have the opportunity to buy snacks/drinks/ice cream when out They can only buy what can be brought back in luggage

Travel Bus from School to Namur, with a ferry at Calais Please make sure that your child has breakfast and lunch for the journey out There will be the opportunity to buy food on the Ferry but service stations are usually short stops. If your child suffers from travel sickness please make sure they have all medication needed.

Roomings Students get to choose 3 people they would like to share with and where possible this is accommodated This depends on room numbers and room size We will always make sure they are sharing with at least one person they nominated.

Behaviour Students are expected to adhere to the high expectations the school has whilst on trips Different rules are in place for trips and students are expected to follow these. If you are concerned about your child please contact the school who can contact us directly.
