4. Early Life of Mark Dean
Mark Dean was born March 2, 1957 in Jefferson City, Tennessee. At a young age he was a very capable boy who loved to build things. With the help of his father, he was able to build a tractor from scratch. Was a gifted athlete and always got straight A’s at Jefferson High School. He was an even better student in college where he graduated top of his class at the University of Tennessee.

5. Mark Dean and IBM
Fresh out of college, Mark Dean was quickly able to get a job at IBM, a computer hardware company. He ended up working there the rest of his career.
While here he worked on some of his most defining achievements.
Things like the
first gigahertz chip which was capable of 1 BILLION calculations per second
developed the first color pc monitor (IBM PC) which came out in 1981
led a team that made the Industry Standard Architecture systems bus (a device that makes it easier to plug in expansion cards to the motherboard)

6. Marian Croak Marian Croak was born in the year 1955 in Pennsylvania.
In the year of 1982 she took the position of a AT&T worker up until september 2014.
In 2014, Dr. Marian Croak left AT&T Labs and started working for Google as their Vice President for research and development for access strategy and emerging markets.
Marian Croak created the voice IP which allows group communication.
Marian croak has over 100 patents related to the voice Ip.

7. Early Life of Marian Croak
Marian Croak was born 1955 in Pennsylvania. When she was younger she enjoyed watching her father her and that later inspired her to become an engineer. Croak in 2014, left AT&T and began working for google as the Vice President for research and development.
