For the next five minutes, please brainstorm the answers to these questions quietly on your own: What makes life worth living? What do you think can be done to help teens say NO to suicide and YES to LIFE? How do people get through hard times – mental struggles – and choose to live?

- Now get into a group of three. Each group will need a piece of chart paper and a marker. - As a group, share and combine your brainstorms. - Write your results on the chart paper nice and LARGE! - Be prepared to share with the class

A CAMPAIGN for year olds created by Psychology 12 9 classes to work on it – will present at Health Fair Based on what YOU think we need to discuss with teens to keep them mentally healthy and choosing life CHoose life 13 Reasons why NOT (to end it)

The campaign involve teaching and displays
We will have two teams One team will be in charge of creating interesting, interactive, informative displays One team will be in charge of teaching gr. 7-11 Each team will have different tasks, obviously

Thinking of going into a career where you need to speak to others? - Good at research? Good at taking notes? - Willing to go interview people? Interested in going into the community to find things out? - Good at ppts or video? Good with technology?

Think INTERESTING, INTERACTIVE, INFORMATIVE
TEACHING TEAM Put together a 30 minute presentation of more than just lecturing Will need to do surveys prior to teaching as well as chat with main teacher Will work in a group of 3 There will be four teaching teams (gr. 7/8, gr. 9, gr. 10, gr. 11) DISPLAY TEAM Put together 13 different displays – NOT SCIENCE BACKBOARDS!!!! Will involve research, community investigation and creativity Teams of 1 or 2 BUT must also work as an entire group of about 20
