3 Supplemental Figure 1 (A) Probability of persistent ovarian function after treatment with bone marrow transplantation (BMT) as a function of total body irradiation (TBI) or no TBI as conditioning treatment. The probability of having active ovarian function 5 years after treatment was 70% if no TBI had been given and only 21% if TBI had been administered (P=.002; Mantel-Cox log-rank test). (B) Probability of persistent ovarian function after treatment with BMT according to age at the time of treatment. The probability of having active ovarian function 5 years after treatment was 59% if age at BMT was ≤10 years and only 22% if age at BMT was >10 years (P=.007; Mantel-Cox log-rank test).
