Pedigree. The patient is indicated with an arrowhead. Current ages or ages at the time of death are indicated. All known family members who have tested positive for an abnormality in the FMR1 gene are shown. The dot indicates tested negative for FMR1 gene abnormality. “Early SAB” indicates a spontaneous abortion or miscarriage in the first trimester. “Menstrual Irregularity” means the person possibly had premature ovarian failure but was never formally diagnosed. The ethnic heritage and countries of origin of the maternal and paternal families are shown.
