Trigonometry is a course in the study of the six circular functions (sine, cosine, tangent, cotangent, secant, and cosecant) and their use in solving right triangles. Additional topics include the Law of Sines, the Law of Cosines, vectors, and polar coordinates. This course must be taken concurrently with Pre-Calculus to prepare for the study of advanced mathematics and to elect AP Calculus. This course prepares students for success in a four-year college program.
