7. homework - Bring home assignments Monday – Thursday
Students are expected to complete the work and bring it in finished on the due date. If it is not complete when class begins, it is late.
Students should be completing 1 – 1.5 hours of homework each night PLUS 30 minutes additional AR reading

- Sixth Grade Newsletter is ed after school every Friday

- Best way to contact us is through a BRIEF .
If you don’t hear back from us after 24 hours, feel free to try ing us again. Sometimes things get filtered out through junk .

9. Field trips Renaissance Festival – March Science Camp – May 13-15
Amazing Jake’s – End of May
(end of the year celebration)
Approximately $200 in tax credit is needed per student.

10. SCIENCE CAMP INFORMATION
May 13-15
Located at Prescott Pines Camp just outside of Prescott.
We will depart at approximately 8:30 am on Monday, May 13
We return to school at approximately 3 pm on Wednesday, May 15
The $150 per student covers:
Transportation – Charter Buses
Lodging
Food
Activities for the 3 days and 2 nights at Prescott Pines
Memories to last a lifetime! 

11. Science camp chaperones
In order to be a chaperone, you must:
Be fingerprinted & complete a background check
Be a parent of a 6th grader
Pay $100 fee
Chaperones sleep in the cabins with the campers:
Moms of daughters
Dads of sons
More information about the process to apply for our lottery will come at Fall Conferences. Parents will be notified by Spring Conferences if selected.

12. Behavior plan Falcon 5 Club - Earn fun activity/reward at end of week
- Reflect on week or work on missing assignments/homework in Responsibility Club
