Made penetrating armored vehicles like tanks easier and could be operated by a single person A short range weapon that the operator to get into tight areas to take out enemy. The wide spread use of penicillin to treat wounds and bacterial disease was a major breakthrough. Special aircraft we developed for all types of use from transportation to aerial combat of the fighter Jet. From Advanced German tanks to American amphibious water vehicles made fighting the war easier. Radar & advanced Sonar was used for both communication & interception of enemy stratergies.

Victory in Japan: The Atomic Bomb was used as an effort to bring war to a speedy conclusion and prevent further loss of life. •The Manhattan Project was the top secret program where American scientists successfully test the atomic bomb in New Mexico. •August 6, The Enola Gay drops an atomic bomb on Hiroshima, killing 70,000-90,000 people. •August 9, A second atomic bomb is dropped on Nagasaki killing 40,000 instantly. •V-J Day – August 14, 1945 – World War II is over.
