Tools for Research at Queen’s (TRAQ)
All research proposals require the completion of a TRAQ entry prior to submission to the agency
Department Heads and Faculty Signing Authorities approve TRAQ entries
In addition to Awards (grants and contracts), TRAQ is also used for Human Ethics and Biohazards approval processes

Please do not sign any proposal or contract on behalf of Queen’s University
Any research project involving human subjects, whether funded or not, must receive ethics approval by one of the Queen’s REBs prior to the start of the project
Any research projects involving vertebrate animals must receive approval prior to the start of the project
Unless otherwise specified by URS, the standard internal deadline for proposal submission is 5 business days in advance of the agency deadline
