2. What is a Recorder Post?
The purpose of a Recorder Post is to monitor the Pressure within a pipe at strategic points.
The picture on the left shows an example of a new Above Ground Recorder Post but variations of this plan include Concrete Versions with a metallic plaque and Horizontal In Ground versions.

3. Data Capture Expectations
All Recorder Posts will need to be connected back to our newly installed main.
The DCT will need to capture 2 Dimensions and a Depth of Cover to where the pipe connects to the main – circled red.
This will need to be annotated on the Primary Document.
A service card will need to be data captured by the DCV Team.
The capture of this plant is governed by DR23.
