Uptake of [11C]5-HTP in the human pancreas is not dependent on perfusion. A: Correlation between pancreatic size and % ID in all individuals. Pancreatic uptake of [11C]5-HTP as % ID completely separates between the TID and HV groups, whereas there is a substantial overlap in pancreatic volume despite the difference at group level. B: There is no correlation between the perfusion of pancreas and the uptake of [11C]5-HTP as measured by % ID.
