Writing for a given period of time on any subject in sentence form to get the ideas you have down on paper. There is no erasing, just new thoughts.
Brainstorming
Rapidly write all ideas/words that pertain to the subject, regardless of relevance. Later, go back and cross off what you don’t need and link like ideas together.
Clustering / Mapping
Start with central idea in middle and branch main topics, then sub-topics, then examples. This shows the relationship between the main topic and the details.
