When they join us, pupils in year 7 are taught in ability sets for a core group of subjects which currently include English, Maths, Science, ICT, Re and Languages. They are taught in mixed ability tutor groups for the Foundation subjects and PE. These foundation subjects include Art, Drama, Geography, History and Music. The 9 tutor groups are also divided into 12 Design and Technology groups to ensure that they have opportunity to develop these vital skills, within a safe and active learning environment.
