By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger; he persevered because he saw him who is invisible.

We don’t want to conform and go back into slavery and the ways of death.
We have to engage with the world
because people all around us are in darkness and dying (like we were!) and we have the living water to give them – Jesus!

and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one. We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true by being in his Son Jesus Christ.
He is the true God and eternal life.

After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.
