7. overview what is stainless?
Stainless steel is a low carbon steel which contains a minimum percentage of 10% chromium. It is the addition of chromium that gives the steal its unique stainless, corrosion resistance.
The chromium content of the steel allows for the formation of a tough, adherent, corrosion-resisting chromium oxide film on the steel surface. If damaged chemically or mechanically, this film is “self-healing,” provided that oxygen is present.

Finding a company who could manufacture and supply all the needed drains in their fast turnaround time was a must.

Our patent pending Butterfly Locking Valve System is manufactured to keep your drains and pipes clear of unwanted debris.
The concept is simple; when the sediment basket is removed, the drain is closed off. When the basket is back in place, the butterfly valve opens allowing water down the drain.
This product offers additional protection for your pipes and trunk lines while the baskets are removed and discourages improper waste disposal. It can be a valuable tool to help prevent clogged drains and reduce the potential for unexpected maintenance costs. Available for 4" or larger outlets.

We began with a traditional stainless steel cleanout design, but later made changes to improve upon it by making the outlet adjustable. The adjustable outlets are manufactured in-house and go up to 2 1/2", where other companies only go up to 1 1/2". The design features a semi acme thread, which will not seize up like traditional threaded outlets.

Costco began using our stainless steel floor sinks that included dome strainers to help protect the outlet. After a few years, they noticed debris was still getting down into the trunk lines and they were spending unnecessary maintenance fees on plumbers to unclog the pipes. We listened to their concerns and made changes to the design. Now all our stainless steel floor sinks include sediment baskets, replacing the less effective dome strainers.

Custom grates are a way to give your drains character or display your company logo. We are able to add any custom logo or company name to our slotted, perforated or perimeter gap grates. Designs and logos will not affect the durability of the grate itself and will meet the qualifications for all weight classifications. Grates are available in any load class A-F. Logos can be engraved, annealed with a laser or applied with our color UV printer onto all gauges, in 304 or 316 stainless steel. Any size or pattern can be fabricated.
