Group Task- Meeting Gatsby
Are we introduced to the ‘real’ Jay Gatsby in this chapter? In groups, choose one of the below responses and justify your choice with close reference to the text. Gatsby is introduced but remains mysterious. Gatsby is introduced and we learn that he is deeply unhappy and dislikes company. Gatsby is introduced in this chapter. We learn some things about him but we are unsure about his real personality. Gatsby is introduced and can immediately be regarded as a character worthy of admiration.
