Emphasize “New Breed” dynamics. Same book – same page. Vision: Every member of the BSA has a great Scouting experience. Train – the – Trainer model means selecting the right people to serve as trainers Create feedback loops Measure and monitor for continuous improvement Utilize scheduled conferences & colleges Build relationships Continue to Develop Process and Steps Needed to Write an Effective Recruiting Plan Process and steps to write an effective recruiting plan Why we do what we do Ways to do it the way we do Impact on the BSA to do or not to do what we do. Build a Diverse Team to Support Work Build Relationships Plan and Ensure Delivery of Effective National Conferences Impact Sessions Weeklong Conferences New Initiatives Build a Diverse Team to Support Work We will continue to grow our diverse team to deliver excellent Impact Sessions and weeklong national conference. Plus we will expand our team of subject matter experts to address several new initiatives SME Team Faculty for 4 Impact Sessions Faculty for 6-7 National Conferences Maintain Relationships We will continue to build and expand relationships across relevant parts of the organization to ensure that Unit Service development needs are addressed. With professionals and Staff - ScoutingU, Philmont Training Center, Florida Sea Base, Bechtel Summit Reserve With Volunteers – ScoutingU, Safe Scouting Champions, Awards and Recognition Plan and Ensure Delivery of effective National Conferences Impact Sessions - Have been well received...we're going to continue our commitment to deliver at least 4 each year (one per region/no repeat of location year to year/gradual introduction of new topics). We believe they offer an opportunity to deliver focused training closer to volunteers and develop our training bench strength) August 2019 – Applying Technology in Unit Service. Indianapolis, IN. Central Region October 2019 – Delivering a Great Commissioners College. Houston, TX. Southern Region November 2019 – Recruiting and Engaging Commissioners. Philadelphia, PA. NE Region 4 sessions in One per Region National Conferences – We are going to continue our commitment to deliver meaningful weeklong conferences at National venue. We believe that these experiences are of great value to those able to attend. 1 at Florida Sea Base in January 2020 6 - 7 at PTC in June 2020 Revisit conferences at SBR in 2020 New Initiatives We are going to focus on a number of new initiatives over the next year. We will do this to ensure that commissioners have the most current information available and to ensure that updates can be done on a timely basis. Implement rolling curriculum updates for Basic and CCS Implement feedback loop for national curriculum for Basic and CCS Evaluate additional development content Evaluate additional delivery methods
