When using Hardware IDs, be as specific as possible
You don’t want your metadata being associated with all keyboards or a complete model line-up

If a device model comes in multiple colors, each color has a different ModelID to match the appropriate metadata package
The same make and model of a cell phone is branded by several OEMs; each OEM-branded phone has a different ModelID
