1. Introduction Derived from education and entertainment.
Materials intended to be both educational and enjoyable. To mix fun with learning. Support education with entertainment. To invest more time in learning. Complex ideas cannot be learned easily and quickly.
Subjects mixed with entertainment are learned better. Education isn’t fun and entertainment isn’t serious. When they overlap, we can enjoy the best of both: Rich amusements and profound learning. So, entertainment is not the goal, but a way to enhance education. Format is entertainment, but the content or message is educational. Q 2 & 3 are about the amount of time they spend in using entertainment materials for learning and generally. - Every student uses an amount of time in using entertainment materials. - The learners spend more time in using entertainment materials generally, rather than for learning. - Only in two options (less than 1 hr and 1-2 hrs) they spend more time in using entertainment materials for learning. Recommendation University administrators need to equip the classes with essential tools for using entertainment materials. 2- Teachers have to use more entertainment materials in their classes. 3- Students need to establish movie clubs. 4- Teachers should guide learners on using them.
