Ask: What does our sum say? (3 plus 2 equals something)
Ask: If we add 3 plus 2 on the number line, what number will be our answer?

Click again to show an arrow adding another 2 and say: We now have 3 plus 2 and it makes 5.
Ask: What number do we fill in for the answer to our sum?
Say: 3 plus 2 equals 5.
