“The Belt and Road” Think-tank International Students Training Program
国际交流与合作 The International Cooperation “The Belt and Road” Think-tank International Students Training Program In 2014, HIT established the “The Belt and Road” Think-tank international students training supported by Chinese Ministry of Commerce Scholarship and Chinese Government. This program focuses on the policies, public opinions monitoring and implementation schemes, carries out teaching and research work with the demand of governments, society and enterprises and opens to senior civil servants. This program has involved 300 international students with in 15 events. Graduate class combined with supervisor responsibility system Individualized teaching, Management consulting and policy making courses Theory with practice, Cross-couture communication

"The Belt and Road" Campus Project The objective is to strengthen people-to-people and cultural exchanges between different countries and regions. A platform is established for cultural and people-to-people exchanges, offer courses in the fields of culture, literature, economics, politics and management, as well as some traditional Chinese culture and Chinese beginner courses.

结 语 Conclusion Education is the first function of a university. The international and innovative education plays a critical role. In order to develop a world-class university, HIT has to continuously improve its research oriented education system. HIT has been exploring the available educational models and approaches, in order to cultivate more outstanding students with international competence and leadership for the future globalized world. HIT likes to have more international collaboration with foreign universities, including the universities of the maritime silk road related countries.
