Crisis management – lessons learned
Getting on the balcony (may require help from outsiders!) Values/moral compass need to guide actions Concern for people is highest priority Thoughtful, continuous communication with stakeholders Balance between hope and reality AGB Institute for Leadership & Governance

risk management Develop detailed and tested protocols for handling all types of emergencies and risks Plan for the unthinkable (e.g., your institution being closed for an extended period of time) Learn from the emergency so your institution ultimately becomes stronger Set the right tone from the top AGB Institute for Leadership & Governance
