5. Rich in trust
Teach those who are rich in this world not to be proud and not to trust in their money, which is so unreliable. Their trust should be in God “Yes, a person is a fool to store up earthly wealth but not have a rich relationship with God.” Luke 12:21 NLT Reflect Where do I put my trust? What is my relationship with God like?

6. Rich heart of God
Their trust should be in God, who richly gives us all we need for our enjoyment. By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvellous glory and excellence. 2 Peter 1:3

He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. He has showered his kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding. God has now revealed to us his mysterious will regarding Christ—which is to fulfil his own good plan Eph. 1:7-9

9. Rich in Generosity and Doing Good
Tell them to use their money to do good. They should be rich in good works and generous to those in need, always being ready to share with others. Reflect How generous am I? Do I want to experience the flow of the enriching from heaven?
Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion 2 Cor 9:10-11

In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life. Reflect What am I doing with what I’ve been given?

Where do I put my trust? What is my relationship with God like? Can I allow myself to receive these rich treasures from God? How generous am I? Do I want to experience the flow of the enriching from heaven? What am I doing with what I’ve been given?
