A hundred Acres Chapter Summary
Will and Sal are supplying the Aboriginals with food Will refers to the Aboriginals as animals as seen in this quote ‘this was a kind of madness, as if a dog were to bark in English’ Will and Sal eventually try to claim the land as theirs They bribe them to leave by giving them flour, pork and Tabaco Will goes to Blackwood to get advice for ridding the ‘savage’ aboriginals off of the land that Sal and Will want to claim Will finds out that Blackwood has a son with an Aboriginal woman and that if he told anyone Blackwood would kill him

Fear Page 195: “In London William Thornhill was counted a big man, but these man made him feel small, they were as tall as he was, their shoulders sinewy but powerful” this quote shows that William Thornhill had fear towards the Indigenous. Also on page 196 an older aboriginal man was depicted to have Authority radiating from him like heat from a fire

Struggle of communication
The Aboriginals didn’t understand what Will and Sal were trying to do when they were bribing them with food to leave This is due to the communication between both Sal and Will and then Aboriginals. Will goes and finds Blackwood to get some advice on how to move the Aboriginals
