Targeting of P2Y1 receptors with truncated C-terminal tails. (A) A series of truncations in the C-tail of the P2Y1 receptor was generated and the resulting receptors were stably expressed in MDCK cells. The truncation constructs are denoted by the position of the last residue in the construct. The sequence comprising the basolateral-targeting signal is indicated in green. (B) Localization of the truncated receptors in polarized monolayers determined by confocal microscopy. (C) Percentage distribution of each receptor at the apical and basolateral surface (±s.d.).
