Officials Study the rulebook
Watch handball matches on the internet to get a feel for the game Look through the club website Attend Club Team practices to watch and learn the sport. Don’t get frustrated. officiating is difficult, even if you know the game well. Do your best & try to do better each time you ref.

Coaches Develop a practice plan & publish on your team webpage
Conditioning Strategy Team goals & values Responsible for your players’ behavior Report attendance to CAO / CIC Only the CIC can release you Take ownership of your team page. Updated it with pictures and videos.

Regimental Cadets-in-Charge
Keep coaches / officials informed: (schedule changes, equipment turn-in, etc) Safety. Don’t let officials loose control. Plan, organize, supervise practice & record contests Manage & assign Officials Keep up-to-date standings on webpage & maintain your regiment’s site overall At the conclusion of CA day: Submit absentee report via CIS Submit results of competition to RAO/BAO prior to 2000 hours

Training General conditioning Handball specific
handball is a court sport that is intense on the cardio system. It is also a throwing sport, so loosen up those arms before practice/contests Handball specific Work on strategy Defensive sets & offensive movement Shooting drills for offense and for goalie

ACCOUNTABILITY CADET’S PLACE OF DUTY IS AT CA’s WITH TEAM OR DPE RECONDITIONING PROGRAM The following are not valid reasons for a cadet to miss CA’s: Additional Instruction Meetings/Company functions Doctor/dentist appointments

DPE ATHLETIC TRAINERS Reconditioning – If a cadet gets injured during the CA season and is not able to finish the season or on profile for a specific duration of CA season, the cadet will attend DPE Reconditioning during their CA time Profiles – You may have a cadet who has a profile and you are not sure if the cadet is able to play or not. Do not make that decision! Any cadet with a profile must report to the DPE ATC and they will make the decisions
