Creating an Absence Request in Timekeeper for employees not requiring a substitute.

Step 1: Enter your Timekeeper Employee number as normal.
This step is no different than what you do everyday to Clock In or Clock Out.

Step 2: Enter your PIN number.

Step 3: Click on Requests.

Step 4: Select Absence Request from the Request drop-down box.

Step 5: Select the type of leave to be taken from the Absence Type drop-down box.

Step 6: Enter the Start and End dates for the absence requested.

Step 7: Enter any message that is to be seen by the supervisor approving the request (Optional) and click on Send Request.

The Create Request screen will clear, then you can click on Pending in the Request Board to see the request. (Next Slide)

The supervisor will get an email notifying them that an absence request is waiting their approval.

When the supervisor approves or denies the request it will show up as a New request on the Request Board.
