The influence of SHIP2 on cell migration in breast cancer cells. (A) Western blot analysis of SHIP2, PTEN and GAPDH expression in seven different breast cancer cells grown in 10% serum. (B) Cell migration velocity over three independent experiments is graphically depicted as the mean±s.e.m. for 30 individual cells quantified for each condition. The cell type is labeled on the respective graph. Cells were pre-incubated with 10 µM AS for 96 h for MDA-MB-231 and for 24 h for the other cells. The inhibitor was also present during the 15 h of live-cell migration experiment. *P<0.05; ****P< (Student's t-test for unpaired data followed by Mann–Whitney test).
