1. Snap and Read

2. Open a new Google Chrome Browser

3. Type in snapandread.com and click enter

4. Click ”Sign In” to log in

5. Sign in with Google

6. Sign in with your Google Username

7. Finish Signing in with Google Password

8. Accept the Invitation

9. Click Continue

10. Click on the “Turn on Sync” Tab

11. Make Sure to “Link Data”

12. “Sign in Anyway”

13. If this screen pops up, just click the X to exit out of it.

14. Click on the Snap and Read Icon and scroll down to options

15. Select Voice Samantha is default and easiest to understand

16. Next click speed Slow speed to -2 or -3 You can also change pitch if needed

17. Click the highlight background color default is light teal

18. Turn on all the toggle options on the right Only turn on the translate if it is needed

19. Go to kids.nationalgeographic.com

20. Click on the Animals Button (green)

21. Pick an animal to test

22. Click on Snap&Read icon and toggle on The right hand side black menu bar will show up

23. The text that you pick will now show reading level on the icon.

24. Click on speaker to activate it and then click on any word for it to start reading and highlighting words

25. Click on the third icon (upside down U) and then click on top of the page. This will dynamically level the reading text
When you dynamically level the text, it will italicize the words it changed. Then you can hover over the words to see what it was.

26. If you come across a word you do not know or understand You can double click the word and the definition will come up

27. When you click on a page to read, it could have a lot of distractions on the page that is not needed

28. You can go to Snap&Read icon and click on “Remove Options”

29. Then the same page will then look like this None of the distractions are on the page
When you are done with the page, you can click the icon again and click
”Show Original”

30. Ready to Log Out Click on your chrome browser icon (B) Click “Manage People”

31. Hoover over the top right hand side of the box and you will get three white dots and then click them

32. This should be your name Click on “Remove This Person”

33. One last time click on “Remove This Person” to confirm

34. The screen will flash and then you know you are logged out
