Confirm what happens with Dual Interest Categories
ANSI stated you can switch back and forth between ballots but for committee balance it would be your primary interest in attending the meeting.
Who owns Contributions? Confirm the process for ownership of IP, Software, Scripts, and Firmware.
The original owner keeps the ownership of the material however by giving us copyright permissions to use in a standard, they are granting a license to use to IEEE that includes:
IEEE has the non-exclusive, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide rights (i.e., a license) to use the Contribution in connection with the development of the Work Product for which the Contribution was made.
Upon (i) approval of the standard; or (ii) final release or publication of a Work Product by an Industry Connections activity, IEEE has the right to exploit and grant permission to use the Work Product’s content derived from the Contribution in any format or media without restriction.
Copyright ownership of the original Contribution is not transferred or assigned to IEEE.

Publication Timeline: Once you have received notice of ANSI Final Action, Lisa Perry is notified to review the document and cross T’s and dot I’s.
She will track all her edits and send to the Chair to confirm her changes were correct and she didn’t miss anything
Once changes are agreed upon, she uploads it and it is officially published and put on websites
THIS PROCESS TAKES 8-12 WEEKS

I have created a google drive for the Steering Committee (can be extended to others) to view status updates of open projects. I will fill in dates for invites, ballots, BSR’s etc. so you can follow along.
REQUST FOR CHAIRS: There is a column for “Estimated Ballot Date”. If your project is nearing the end- please me you expected date for ballot invitation.
