CLASSROOM NEWSLETTER Week of March 4-8 WE WILL BE WORKING ON: Reading: Students will follow Written muli- step directions with picture cues and explain the meaning of signs and symbols Phonics: Long o (oa), au, aw Writing: Students will be writing short letters using appropriate conventions. We will also be practice using adverbs and prepositions in our writing. Math: Students will identify one-half, one-third, and one-sixth Students will use greater than, less than, and equal to Students will divide a set of objects by sharing Students will identify cup, quart, gallon, and liter Science: Students will learn about things can be classified as living organism and non-living objects. Social Studies: Students will discuss how human resources are used to produce goods and services. ~Special Notes~ Spelling words: are, and, come, for, got, haul, paw, boat, August, coal Sentence of the week: Mom got a toy for me today!
