10. EXAMPLES OF GOOD PRACTICE

11. 1. Overall assessment
New tests and education. Creation of documentation, protocols, proposal of normative and personnel regulation of the overall assessment – in progress.

12. 2. Extended curriculum
Home visits 4 children in early intervention, 20 hours per year. Additional expert support based on overall assessment, up to 10 hours a year - children who are not blind / partially sighted.

13. 2. Extended curriculum
Additional assistance for children and youth with special educational needs: - 30-hour computer course; - developing reading skills, individually for 5 children in the range of 15 hours per year; - multicultural learning – group of 4, in a form of a workshop.

14. 2. Extended curriculum
Courses and therapies: - A 3-day thematic camp for raising social competences for secondary school students; - a course of 10 hours for the last triad and secondary school; - tactile sensibilization - 20 hours per year, group.

- School for parents (7) - Lectures of professionals (7) - 4 groups of mentors - Purchase of special equipment. - Preparing and publishing videos with didactic and methodical recommendations.

The project is designed to provide the basis for the systematic regulation of Centre of expertise for holistic support to blind and partially sighted children and youth, as well as children and adolescents with special educational needs, and enables the sustainability of the results even after the project is completed (knowledge, workshops, literature, videos, new equipment ...).
