2. 1. What is the name of your diocese?
The name of our diocese is called Hallam
The diocese was formed on the 30th of May 1980, by removing territory from the diocese of Leeds and the diocese of Nottingham one of the six suffrage sees in the ecclesiastical province of Liverpool.
It is under the patronage of our lady of the perpetual help, whose feast is celebrated as a solemnity in the diocese on the 27th of June.

3. 2. What is the name of the leader of your diocese?
The leader of our diocese is Bishop Ralph Heskett.
He was born on the 3rd of March 1953, also he was born in Sunderland, England , Great Britain.
On the 28th of August 1971, he was professed member of congregation of the most Holy Redeemer.
On the 10th of July he was ordinared priest.

4. 3. What is the name of your cathedral ?
The name of our cathedral is called St.Marie’s.
It is the mother church of the diocese of Hallam

5. Where is it ?
It is in Sheffield.
It has been there since 1850.

6. What is the bishop’s seat ?
Some of the time when the church opens the bishop might not be there but still runs the church and nobody is allowed to sit in his seat.
