5. L12-4 Obj: Find the standard deviation of a set of values
Statisticians use several measures of variation to describe how the data in a data set are spread out.
The range of a set of data is the difference between the greatest and least values. Range=Max - Min
The interquartile range is the difference between the third and first quartiles. IQR=Q3 – Q1
Variance and the standard deviation are measures of how much the values in a data set vary or deviate from the mean. Variance=Standard Deviation squared
