2. Changes to ETG membership
NCPP was given a slot and is being represented by Judith Corley-Lay. Participated in 1 telephone conference call meeting.
Emulsion task force was also represented.
John Donahue, MODOT, was added to include concrete preservation.

3. PPETG has gotten off to a slow start…
Several changes in leadership within FHWA
Some “oversight” issues due to unfilled positions within the FHWA
Still requiring several layers of approval for any product, which makes delivery frustratingly slow.
However… participants remain enthusiastic and are moving forward with several work groups.

4. Preservation Program Self Assessment Tool… top 10 things.
Top item: dependable, recurring budget
Support from management at all levels
Article has been written and is under review at FHWA. Hope to publish is FP2 Preservation Journal.

5. Top 10 list
Writing up additional articles looking at 2 or 3 items from the list and highlighting an agency for each item.
Center will be assisting with a survey to states asking their self-assessment for each of the 10 items. This will be used to select agencies to highlight.

7. Each work group is pursuing it’s work via phone calls
Next group “meeting” will be in 2 months.
Trying to fit a face to face meeting around the uncertainty of FHWA budget (they tend to not want to schedule in month before end of fiscal year, and they historically don’t have a budget at or even near the beginning of the new fiscal year.) November???
