HERA Grading Process for Individual Grading Review Requests
Step 1 Individual discusses their role and its grade with their Line Manager Line Manager contacts HRA for initial discussion at earliest opportunity to determine whether a HERA Assessment or alternative actions are appropriate e.g Above & Beyond, Acting Up, Additional Responsibility Allowance Step 2 HR Advisor advises on completion and submission of appropriate forms and documents Step 3 Individual completes documents and reviews them with Line Manager. Any discrepancies between the individuals and the line manager’s view of the roles are recorded. Line Manager comments on and signs documents Step 4 When fully completed submit to Step 5 Receipt of Grading Review Request acknowledged and timescale advised Role assessed and validated by trained HERA Analysts Step 6 Manager, HR Advisor and individual notified of the outcome
