Risk, compliance and document control
Build a risk register, identify, rate and control risks and generate a risk mitigation action plan. Schedule and monitor practice compliance actions. Maintain a central version controlled document library for policies, procedures, forms and templates. Upload and manage contracts and agreements with auto-reminders.

Incidents and complaints
Systematic approach to managing safety, including risk ratings, accountabilities, policies and procedures. Online incident and complaint reporting and task assignment with automatic notification. Trend reporting showing changes over time. Create improvement suggestions from adverse events.

My opinion of value-first hand
Cost savings in using LOGIQC - through organisation, management, monitoring and structured systems, induction and orientation. Staff’s time is under estimated as a cost e.g. the time taken on the constant ‘paper warfare’, looking for documents, scrambling for HR and training records, compliance documents and audits. Often left until the last moment and then there is a mad scramble. Lack of document control- numerous versions Repetitive documentation and information Not to forget - the anxiety and stress on staff when they are scrambling to get ready, like cramming for an exam.

Administrator – ‘Set up’ aligns to your practice Use previous self assessment information Notify RNZCGP that your practice uses LOGIQC- on site and annual (sample ) Need to have a champion (or two), need to be supported/leadership from the top. Set up takes time but once done…..it is done LOGIQC imbeds a ‘business as usual’ culture, it is a team effort – share the work specific to each discipline Do a bit at a time- DO IT WELL

Dear xx I have received the College letter stating who the assessors are assigned for our on site CORNERSTONE visit. [practice name] will shortly submit our self assessment in preparation for our on site assessment visit on [date]. Please note [practice name] uses the LOGIQC Quality Management System. I will be arranging logins to our LOGIQC for the assessors to use our system for their preparation for the assessment. I will also be checking to see if the Assessors have had training to use LOGIQC, if they have not, I will direct that person to training on how to use LOGIQC.

FAQs Do I need to use QA2QI if I have LOGIQC
Yes – to enable you to submit your self assessment in QA2QI and for the assessors to write their report- BUT use ‘ see LOGIQC Accreditation module’ in the Self Assessment section Do I delete the pre set information in the ‘How the requirements are met’ in the Accreditation module Not delete but amend information to be specific for your practice Can more than one person work on LOQIQC at the same time? Yes, it is web based so any number of staff can use it at one time Where can I access resources/help guides to use LOGIQC? Contact the Help Desk Can I add more registers and licences at any time? Yes. Licences and registers can be added at any time. Licences can also be reduced if your needs change.
