17 Why should your family member sign up to be a chaperone?
It’s free! It’s fun! It’s free!! We need their help. They get to do all of the interesting and fun activities and the camp counselors do all of the work. They don’t have to worry about big discipline problems – Chaparral teachers will handle that for them. It will insure that you get to be with your group of friends. It’s a free trip to Catalina when it’s warm!

18 If your family member is interested in being a chaperone.
Have them come and sign up at the parent meeting held on Thursday, November 29th at 7 PM in Mr. Miller’s Room or they can contact Mr. Miller

19 Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Will I be able to choose my group? A: Children of chaperones will be selecting their groups. An attempt will be made to keep other groups together and fit them into the chaperone groups, but there is a limit of 10 per group, so groups may be broken up. You will always be kept with at least one friend from your list.

20 Q: Can I choose which camp I will be going to?
A: No. Other than size (Toyon Bay will have over 200 students and Fox Landing only 100) the camps offer similar accommodations and activities. Q: If I cannot attend for some reason can my parents get their money back? A: Yes. They should just me at: After March refunds will be subject to a $25 fee. Q: Can I bring any electronics? A: Yes. An alarm clock and a Cell Phone, but there is no cell service out there and it will be taken away if you use it to play games.
