What Wondrous Love Is This
Hymn 261: What Wondrous Love Is This
8
1. What wondrous love is this, O my soul, O my soul, what wondrous love is this, O my soul! What wondrous love is this that caused the Lord of bliss to bear the dreadful curse for my soul, for my soul, to bear the dreadful curse for my soul!
9
2. To God and to the Lamb, I will sing, I will sing, to God and to the Lamb, I will sing; to God and to the Lamb, who is the great I AM, while millions join the theme, I will sing, I will sing, while millions join the theme, I will sing!
10
3. And when from death I'm free, I'll sing on, I'll sing on, and when from death I'm free, I'll sing on; and when from death I'm free, I'll sing and joyful be, and through eternity I'll sing on, I'll sing on, and through eternity I'll sing on!

Unison Reading: Isaiah 9:6-7 How Good It Is to Thank the Lord
12
and the government shall be upon his shoulder,
6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
13
7 Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end,
on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do this.

Crown Him with Many Crowns
Hymn 295: Crown Him with Many Crowns How Good It Is to Thank the Lord
18
Crown him with many crowns, the Lamb upon his throne;
hark! how the heavenly anthem drowns all music but its own: awake, my soul, and sing of him who died for thee, and hail him as thy matchless King through all eternity.
19
Crown him the Lord of love; behold his hands and side,
rich wounds, yet visible above, in beauty glorified: no angel in the sky can fully bear that sight, but downward bends his burning eye at mysteries so bright.
20
Crown him the Lord of peace; whose power a scepter sways
from pole to pole, that wars may cease, absorbed in prayer and praise: his reign shall know no end; and round his pierc-ed feet fair flowers of paradise extend their fragrance ever sweet.
21
Crown him the Lord of years, the Potentate of time;
Creator of the rolling spheres, ineffably sublime: all hail, Redeemer, hail! for thou hast died for me: thy praise shall never, never fail throughout eternity.
22
Praise, my soul, the King of heaven, to his feet your tribute bring;
ransomed, healed, restored, forgiven, who, like me, his praise should sing? Alleluia! Alleluia! Praise the everlasting King.

Scripture Reading: Revelation 3:14-22 (ESV)
24
14 “And to the angel of the church in Laodicea write: ‘The words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of God's creation. 15 “‘I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot!
25
16 So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth. 17 For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing, not realizing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked.
26
18 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see. 19 Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent.
27
20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock
20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. 21 The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne. 22 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

Praise the Savior, Ye Who Know Him!
Hymn 677 (Deacon’s Offering): Praise the Savior, Ye Who Know Him!
30
Praise the Savior, ye who know him. Who can tell how much we owe him
Praise the Savior, ye who know him! Who can tell how much we owe him? Gladly let us render to him all we are and have. Jesus is the name that charms us; he for conflict fits and arms us; nothing moves and nothing harms us while we trust in him.
31
Trust in him, ye saints, forever; he is faithful, changing never; neither force nor guile can sever those he loves from him. Keep us, Lord, O keep us cleaving to thyself and still believing, till the hour of our receiving promised joys with thee.
32
Then we shall be where we would be, then we shall be what we should be; things that are not now, nor could be, soon shall be our own.
33
Benediction
34
Alleluia! Alleluia! Glory be to God on high;
alleluia to the Savior, who has won the victory; alleluia to the Spirit, fount of love and sanctity. Alleluia! Alleluia to the Triune Majesty.
