Straw Poll Results for Returning to This Venue
doc: 802 EC-19/0118r0 July 2019 Straw Poll Results for Returning to This Venue Would you like to return to this venue? Y: N: Y: N: – Y: N: – Y: N: Y: N: – Y: N: Y: N: 802 EC – Y: N: Comment from Vice Chair: I voted “No”---the Fairmont seems to have fallen badly, perhaps since the Accor buyout. The hotel is looking worn in many areas. It seems that only a few of the 8 elevators were in service, resulting in long waits; meeting room temperatures too hot/too cold; overly-aggressive sound systems; banquet staff did not reset rooms when required. I’m sure you’ve spoken with Dawn on this. This makes me sad as I’ve been coming to the FHV since the 1970s. IEEE 802 July 2019 Plenary
